Labh Patri Online Application / Registration Process

Step 1: If you are applying for the first time, ensure you register with e-Labour Punjab and visit the official website at https://pblabour.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on “Create New User” on the home page of the Labour Department’s website, as demonstrated below:

Step 3: After clicking “Create New User,” a new window will appear asking for required details for New Labour Card Registration, as shown below:

Step 4: Once you fill in all needed information, the system will send a confirmation link to your registered email, along with an OTP for verification.
Step 5: As a newly registered user, click the link sent to your email for confirmation.

When you click on the “Click Here” button (the green button shown above), you can confirm your email ID.
Step 6: Next, e-Labour will guide you to verify your mobile number by entering the OTP and Captcha, then click on the “Verify Mobile” button.
Step 7: After verifying your mobile number, the e-Labour department will prompt you to set your password for registration.
Step 8: Once registration is complete, you can log in to the e-Labour portal by visiting or by selecting the “LOGIN” menu on the top right corner of the home page.

Step 9: If this is your first time logging in, you need to update your profile with a recent photo and signature on the e-Labour website. Once your profile is updated, you can access all regulatory clearances from e-Labour Punjab.
Labour Card (Labh Patri) Eligibility Criteria
- Should be an unorganised worker.
- Worker’s age should be between 18 and 40 years.
- Worker’s monthly income should not exceed Rs.15,000.
List of Documents Required for Registration:
- Address proof such as Aadhaar Card or Voter Card.
- Savings Bank Account or Jan Dhan account number with IFSC code.
- Postcard size photograph.
