Haryana CLU Application Form - Summary
The Haryana CLU (Change in Land Use) application form is crucial for anyone looking to change the use of their land. To begin, you need to submit the CLU application form at the field office along with the required scrutiny fee: Rs 10 per square meter for non-recreational or industrial uses, and Rs 2 per square meter for industrial or recreational uses. Applications for Change of Land Use are assessed and approved according to zoning rules.
Requirements for CLU Application
Individuals wishing to secure permission to change land use—for residential, industrial, commercial, institutional, farmhouse, or recreational purposes—must complete the prescribed CLU-I form and submit it to the Director in accordance with Rule 26-A. Here are the necessary documents:
1. Scrutiny fee of Rs. 10 per square meter for non-industrial or recreational projects and Rs. 2 per square meter for industrial or recreational usage.
2. A copy of the property deeds that confirm the applicant’s ownership.
3. A survey plan of the land on a scale of 1 to 40 feet that includes existing access to public roads and nearby buildings within 100 yards.
4. Shajra Plan.
5. Land Utilization Plan.
6. Certificate confirming the potability of water from a recognized water-testing laboratory (for farmhouses).
7. Project report.
8. SSI certificate or registration certificate from the Industries Department (for industries).
9. Deputy Commissioner’s recommendation certificate (for petrol pump and institutional applications).
Key Guidelines for CLU
It is important to understand that no commercial Change of Land Use permissions will be issued for small activities like departmental stores, cyber cafés, or banquet halls. The government has decided that industrial units will not be permitted in the agriculture zones of Hyper/High Potential Zones. However, SSI units up to 2 acres are allowed in the agriculture zones of High Potential Zones located in an Industrially Backward Block.
