The pension amount under the YSR Pension Kanuka Scheme will rise by Rs. 250 each year, reaching Rs. 3,000 per month by the fourth year, as promised during elections.
Due to a new order from the Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Department, the eligibility age for old age pension beneficiaries has been lowered from 65 years to 60 years.
