After reading each chapter, you can offer a coconut as ‘Naivedyam’. Alternatively, one can choose to break a single coconut at the end of the vratham. For the Maha Prasadam, mix wheat rawa and sugar with ghee, similar to the Satyanarayana Swamy Prasadam.

Ordained by the Lord Himself, this vratham is easy to perform and can be done by anyone, any time, and anywhere. Financial, health, and various other personal issues will surely be resolved through this vratham. It is perfectly timed before any important event like marriage or housewarming, and anyone seeking success in their career or business can also perform this vratham for favorable results.

As stated earlier, the vratham can be performed at any time. It’s especially beneficial to do it during the auspicious months of Margasira, Magha, Karthika, or on specific tithi days like Pournami, Panchami, Saptami, Ekadasi, as well as during Sravana or Swati nakshatras. The vratham can be conducted early in the morning or in the evening on your chosen day. This ritual comprises of five chapters, the first one inspired by the Lord Himself, while the remaining four stories are blessed by the great Saints — Viswamitra, Vasishta, Bharadwaja, and Athri.
