To apply for a Permanent Driver License in Jammu and Kashmir the applicant has to approach the RTO office to which his area belongs. The applicant should make sure they are eligible (18 years and above, LLR minimum of 30 days and a maximum 180 days’ time. The applicant should make sure they are eligible for applying by reading through the eligibility criteria that have been listed out under the “Eligibility” section of this page
The applicant has to qualify for the driving test. Applicant on successful completion of test drive will be asked to get photographed for the license copy and to imprint fingerprints. The applicant will get the License.
