Maharashtra Farmer Accident Insurance Scheme
Gopinath Munde Farmers Accident Insurance Scheme is launched by the state government of Maharashtra for farmers. The scheme will cover the accidental death or handicap of the farmers. The insurance scheme aims to ensure social and economic security to farmers and their families. This scheme is the benefit to more than 1.37 crore farmers between 10 to 75 years age group in Maharashtra.

The mode of payment under this scheme is directly transferred to the bank account through RTGS. The farmers should have 7/12 as land ownership documents and the name of nominee who would get benefit for Gopinath Munde Farmers Accident Insurance Scheme
Benefits of Gopinath Munde Farmers Accident Insurance Scheme:
- Farmer granted of Rs. 2 lakh under accident insurance scheme
- Farmer granted Rs. 1 lakh for partial disabilities under this scheme
Eligibility of Gopinath Munde Farmers Accident Insurance Scheme:
- Farmers in Maharashtra state are eligible for this scheme
- Farmers who have land ownership such as 7/12 are eligible for this scheme
- Farmers between age of 10 to 75 years are eligible for this scheme
