Labor policy ensures that suitable working conditions and labor standards are met by enforcing labor laws. To adopt new labor welfare policies to improve the workforce’s quality of life.
In dealing with approvals required under various labor regulations, labor works in a transparent and time-bound manner.
Facilitation
The Senior Assistant Director, Industrial Safety and Health in their respective zones shall receive applications for registration, licensing, and approval of industrial building plans under the Factories Act, 1948. Before forwarding the applications to the Chief Inspector of Factories, they will assist the applicants in ensuring that they are complete in every way. This will make the procedure easier and faster.
Workers and managers will be given detailed information to raise awareness of ergonomics and the prevention of workplace accidents.
Minimum Wages
Haryana has one of the highest minimum wages in the country for industrial workers. Unskilled workers’ minimum salary is now set at Rs. 3510/- per month and Rs. 135/- per day. Based on tripartite discussions, the government will continue to examine and enhance these pay from time to time.
