The Andhra Pradesh Housing Application Form is vital for the “YSR Housing Scheme” or “YSR Avaas Yojana.” This scheme was started by the Andhra Pradesh government to help poor people in the state who find it hard to build their own homes. Launched by CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in memory of his father, Late YS Rajasekhar Reddy, this initiative was earlier called the NTR Housing Scheme. It was introduced during the first state budget by Finance Minister Mr. B. Rajendranath Reddy.

About the YSR Housing Scheme

The YSR Housing Scheme aims to support Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Low-Income Groups (LIG), and Middle-Income Groups (MIG) in Andhra Pradesh. The state government is committed to providing pucca houses to all eligible beneficiaries, with a budget allocation of around Rs. 128 crore. This makes it easier for families to have a secure place to live.

Eligibility Criteria for the AP Housing Application Form

The applicant must be a permanent resident of the state.
The applicant should not have their own house or land.
Applicants must possess either an APL or BPL ration card, along with a caste certificate.
