How to Get a Temporary Electricity Connection

First, collect the Application Form from your nearest WBSEDCL Customer Care Center or download it from the link provided below.
After getting the form, ensure you submit it at least 2 days before you need the connection. Fill it out completely and attach all necessary documents.
An authorized representative from WBSEDCL will come to check your place for several things:
1. Is there an existing connection (either live or disconnected)? If yes, then:
  - Is the new place different from the old one with separate wiring?
  - Are there any unpaid bills for the old connection?
2. Can the current system handle the load you need?
3. Does the current system need any maintenance work?
4. Are there any way leave issues to resolve?
5. Have you finished your part, like getting the premises ready, installing the Main Switch, ensuring proper earthing, and completing wiring?
They will collect all required documents listed in the Application Form during their visit.
Once you submit your Application Form and the WBSEDCL officials are satisfied with their inspection, you will receive a quotation for the Service Connection and Security Deposit.
You must pay the Service Connection Charge and the Security Deposit at the relevant Customer Care Center during office hours within 90 days of getting the quotation.
