UDISE Guidelines Form 2019-20 PDF
The objective of collecting information using UDISE+ is to improve the education level in the Country by better planning, optimized resource allocation, and real-time monitoring. Thus, information collected through UDISE+ is utilized for the planning and implementation of various education-related programs and assessments of progress made.
Following guiding principles were followed during the preparation of the Document –
✓ Staying relevant –
Ensuring that the document addresses the ‘right’ areas It is important to focus on the DCF boundaries and invest time and effort to work within this boundary. For the current document, we have identified the UDISE+ application and assess all its current sections of the Data Capture Format form
✓ Discussion with the right stakeholder’s –
An attempt was made to discuss, and interview various teams’ i.e. Head of the department, senior management, operational teams, etc. of UDISE+ Application.
✓ Participatory –
Garner participation & support from the Department of School Education & Literacy, Human Resource Department by engaging in discussions on the current transformation initiative, overall plan, and the benefits that the transformation will bring for the UDISE+ Application.
The school education system in India is the largest and most complex education system in the world. School Education lays the foundation stone in building the personality of a person. The importance of school education lies in the fact that the children of today will become adult citizens of tomorrow. The growth and future of our country highly depend upon the quality of the present school education system. But we notice that the less privileged get sub-standard schools. Jointly managed at the national and state levels, many initiatives have been undertaken to improve access to quality schooling – particularly for those who are economically or socially disadvantaged.
