TMC Corporation (KMC) Election Candidates List 2021
TMC (Trnamool Congress) has released the its candidate list for the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) election on December 19. As many as 39 of 126 ward coordinators (Councillors) have been dropped.
The TMC, however, has apparently deviated from its ‘one-man-one-post’ policy. Also, several family members of party leaders, including TMC chief Mamata Banerjee’s sister-in law Kajori Banerjee, feature in the list. Kajori is the wife of Mamata’s brother Kartik Banerjee.

The Kolkata Municipal Corporation polls will be held on December 19 as per the notification issued by the State Election Commission of West Bengal. The last date for filing nominations for 144 wards of KMC is December 1.
