The Shagun Scheme shall be applicable only once on the occasion of the marriage of two daughters (up to two daughters marriage) and shall not be applicable in the case of a second marriage. If the daughter is herself registered as a beneficiary with the Board, she shall also be entitled to the amount of Shagun on the occasion of her own marriage. The registered workman can submit the application within 3 months after the fixed date of the marriage of the daughter. A certificate obtained from the Marriage Registering Authority is required to be attached with the application.
