India Post Office declares the GDS result in the form of a merit list. It is generated and published on the basis of scrutiny of online applications of the applicants and evaluation of their marks in class 10th.
Selection of the candidates for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) will be made purely on the basis of merit of the candidates. The merit list will be provisional and will be indicating the names of the candidates shortlisted for further selection round.
