Assam Mukhyamantri Krishi Sa Saluli Yojana Guidelines - Summary
Mukhya Mantri Krishi Sa-Sajuli Yojana is an important scheme designed for farmers by the Assam government. This initiative focuses on the overall development of farmers by implementing various farm mechanization efforts to enhance agricultural productivity.
Through the Mukhyamantri Krishi Sa Sajuli Yojana, the Assam government aims to improve farm productivity on limited lands to meet the rising demand for agricultural produce and ensure that farmers earn a better income. Currently, the adoption of scientific farming tools is relatively low in Assam. Therefore, the CM Farm Tool Scheme is an essential step taken by the state government to assist rural farmers in achieving economic growth.
Aims and Objectives of Mukhyamantri Krishi Sa Saluli Yojana
- To promote farm mechanization in growing various crops.
- To facilitate the transfer of technology to farmers’ fields.
- To improve the production and productivity of different crops through farm mechanization.
- To increase farmers’ profitability while saving time and lowering labor costs.
- To encourage modern cultivation practices by helping farmers acquire advanced farm tools.
Benefits of Mukhyamantri Krishi Sa Saluli Yojana
- Each eligible farmer will receive ₹5,000.
- Approximately 5 lakh farmers will benefit from this scheme.
- Assistance will be provided to purchase farm tools and implements.
- Benefits will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of beneficiaries.
- A District Level Committee, led by the District Deputy Commissioner, will select the beneficiaries. In BTAD and Autonomous Districts, Principal Secretaries will chair the committee.
- The scheme will be monitored by the State Level Monitoring Committee, chaired by the Agriculture Production Commissioner.
