AICWA Letter to Modi (Adipurush Ban) - Summary
The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) is urgently calling for a ban on the movie Adipurush. They believe that its screenplay and dialogues disrespect the revered figures of Lord Ram and Lord Hanuman. Since its release, the film has sparked significant conversation on social media, primarily due to its visual effects and disappointing dialogues. AICWA has taken a formal step by writing to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asking him to stop the screening of Adipurush and to ensure an immediate ban on future screenings of the film in theatres and on OTT platforms.
