the results of the Gram Panchayat elections are being announced today even as the ruling party and the opposition are facing each other. The results of a total of 7 thousand 751 gram panchayats in the state are being announced 0n 20th December 2022. The results of the elections conducted under the new rules of directly electing the Sarpanch are being announced and the entire state is paying attention to whether the constituent parties of the Mahavikas Aghadi win or whether the ruling Shinde group and the Bharatiya Janata Party win the most seats.

Direct voting for the post of Sarpanch was also held on Sunday with a total of 7 thousand 751 Gram Panchayat members in various districts of the state. Most of these gram panchayats were from Vidarbha. Voting has been done for a total of 2276 Gram Panchayats in Vidarbha and there is curiosity about who will win today. Along with Vidarbha, voting was held for 293 gram panchayats in Sindhudurg, 431 in Kolhapur, 1418 in Solapur, 236 in Nagpur. Similarly, the results of 196 Gram Panchayats in Nashik, 1965 in Ahmednagar and 670 Gram Panchayats in Beed are also being announced.
