Eligibility for Arms Licence in West Bengal
- The licensing authority has the authority to refuse to provide a license.
- In the case of any illegal arms or forbidden ammunition, a license is necessary.
- When a person who the licensing authority has grounds to believe requires it.
- To be prohibited from acquiring, possessing, or carrying any arms or ammunition by the Indian Arms Rules or any other law in force at the time.
- To be of unsound mind.
- To be unfit for a license for any reason.
