A residence certificate or Domicile certificate is a government document issued by the Government of Odisha for the person proving to be a resident of the state. To avail of any government scheme in the state, you need a state residence certificate, without a residence certificate you cannot avail of the government scheme.
Eligibility Criteria For Odisha Residence Certificate
The following eligibility criteria are mandatory to apply for a domicile/residence certificate of the state of Odisha.
- The person has been living in the state for a year or more.
- The records of residential plot owned by the parents or ancestors of the applicant should be related to the state
- If the applicant is married, and if the applicant’s wife is from another state, then that woman is also eligible for the state residence certificate.

Details to be mentioned: Applicants personal details, Spouse details, contact details, Permanent Address, Land record details, and any other details.
Submit the form: Applicants, after carefully fill the necessary details attached to the necessary documents, submit this form to the concerned authority/department. After submitting the form, your Residence certificate will be issued by the officers after checking your application within 15 days.
The validity of the Residence certificate is for one year from the date of issue.
