ഡോ. ബി ആർ അംബേദ്കർ (Dr. BR Ambedkar) അധ്യക്ഷനായിരുന്ന 7 സദസ്യരുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ ഡ്രാഫ്റ്റിംഗ് കമ്മിറ്റിയിൽ നിർമ്മിച്ചത് ആണ് ഈ ഭരണഘടന.

ചരിത്രത്തിൽ ആദ്യമായി മതം, ജാതി, പ്രദേശം ഭാഷകളായി വിഭജിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ഈ ദേശം ഒരു പരമാധികാര രാഷ്ട്രമായി മാറി.
