ONGC Exam Preparation Books
ONGC has released the recruitment 2022 notification from the official website and candidates who have applied for the post must prepare themselves to clear the entrance exam for these candidates must be aware of the exam pattern and syllabus for the exam.
Applicants must be Indian Nationals. Candidates are required to score a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in undergraduate engineering programmes. Candidates who have passed professional exams such as AMIE (Electrical)/ AMIE (Mechanical)/ AMIE(Civil) can not apply for the ONGC recruitment through GATE 2022.

ONGC Written Exam Pattern and Syllabus:
The written test comprises of MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) of 2 hours duration. The questions will be of the following category:
- Domain related/ Subject which is given 80% weightage
- Aptitude and General Mental Ability to test a candidate’s analytical & logical reasoning, comprehension ability, interpersonal skills, data interpretation skills, basic numeracy, and general awareness which will be of 20% weightage.
The exam will be conducted in the English language. However if a candidate wishes, he may get the question paper in the Hindi language provided he has already mentioned the same in his application form.
