Features & Benefits of the YSR Pension Kanuka Scheme

The AP YSR Pension Kanuka Scheme 2019 has several valuable features and benefits for the needy:

• The pension amount is set to increase by Rs. 250 every year. By the fourth year, it will rise to Rs. 3,000 per month, as promised during the elections.
• Recent orders from the Panchayati Raj and Rural Development department now allow individuals aged 60 years and above to qualify for the old age pension.
• Eligible groups including senior citizens, widows, weavers, toddy tappers, fishermen, single women, traditional cobblers, and people living with HIV will get Rs. 2,250 every month.
• Disabled individuals will receive a pension of Rs. 3,000. Earlier, those with a disability of 40% to 79% received Rs. 2,000 while those with more than 80% received Rs. 3,000.
• For chronic kidney patients requiring dialysis, the pension has seen a significant increase from Rs. 3,500 to Rs. 10,000 a month.
