Navodaya Form 2026 - Summary
Navodaya Form 2026 Class 6 has been released online by the जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय at its official website. The authorities have released the official prospectus on the online website announcing the JNVST Exam Date 2025 for the phase 1 as December 13, 2025 and April 11, 2026 as the exam date for the phase 2 exam.
All the students who are interested in getting admission to the class 6 must note that the last date to fill the Navodaya Application Form 2026 is July 29, 2025. The admission process is being conducted to admit students in class 6 at 653 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas located in 27 States and 08 Union Territories across the country. The authorities have also announced the Navodaya Exam Date 2026 so that students can plan and prepare accordingly.

The Navodaya Exam Date 2026 class 6 has been announced by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti in the prospectus released online at the official website. All the students who are looking forward to get admission in the class 6 must now start preparing for the exams which are scheduled to be conducted in two phases. Phase 1 of the Navodaya Exam 2026 is scheduled for December 13, 2025 while the Phase 2 will be conducted on April 11, 2026.

How to Apply for JNV (Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya) Selection TestAdmission Form 2025
- The process for submission of application for the JNV Selection Test has been simplified through the online process at https://cbseitms.rcil.gov.in or directly click on this link.
- The eligible candidates have to fill up the online form and upload the certificate with the photograph along with the signatures of both candidates and/or their parents/guardians. The attachments should be uploaded in jpg format of the size between 10-100 kb only.
- In the case of candidates from NIOS, candidates should obtain a `B’ certificate and residence should be in the same district where he/she is seeking admission.
- The online platform is open source and free of cost. Application may be submitted from any source like desktop, laptop, mobile, tablet, etc.

अभ्यर्थियों के लिए निर्देश-:
- ऑनलाइन आवेदन प्रक्रिया का केवल एक ही चरण है।
- अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग के अभ्यर्थियों को आरक्षण केवल केन्द्रीय सूची के अनुसार दिया जाएगा। केन्द्रीय सूची के अन्तर्गत नहीं आने वाले अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग के अभ्यर्थी कृपया सामान्य अभ्यर्थी के रूप में आवेदन करें।
- आवेदन प्रारम्भ करने से पहले कृपया निम्नानुसार स्केंड कॉपी तैयार रखें।
- अभ्यर्थी के हस्ताक्षर (हस्ताक्षर की इमेज का आकार 10-100 के.बी के बीच होना चाहिए।)
- अभिभावक के हस्ताक्षर (हस्ताक्षर की इमेज का आकार 10-100 के.बी के बीच होना चाहिए।)
- अभ्यर्थी का फोटोग्राफ (फोटोग्राफ का आकार 10-100 के.बी के बीच होना चाहिए।)
- माता-पिता और उम्मीदवार द्वारा हस्ताक्षरित और प्रधानाध्यापक द्वारा सत्यापित प्रमाण पत्र (हस्ताक्षरित प्रमाण पत्र का आकार 50-300 के.बी के बीच होना चाहिए।)
- यदि अभ्यर्थी के पास आधार संख्या नहीं है तो सक्षम सरकारी प्राधिकारी द्वारा जारी माता-पिता का निवास प्रमाण पत्र|
Reservation for Rural, SC/ST, Girls & Disabled Children
- At least 75% of the seats in a district are filled by candidates selected from rural areas and the remaining seats are filled from urban areas of the district.
- Reservation of seats in favour of children belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes is provided in proportion to their population in the district concerned provided that in no district, such reservation will be less than the national average (15% for SC and 7.5% for ST) but subject to a maximum of 50% for both the categories (SC & ST) taken together. These reservations are interchangeable and over and above the candidates selected under open merit.
- 27% reservation shall be provided to the OBC students over and above the reservation of SCs and STs. The reservations to the OBC students shall be implemented as per Central List, as applicable from time to time. The OBC candidates not included in the Central list would apply as General Candidates.
- Minimum One-third of the total seats are filled by girls.
- There is a provision for reservation for Divyang children (i.e. Orthopedically Handicapped, Hearing Impaired, and Visually Handicapped) as per GOI norms.
Documents Required to Fill in the JNV Class 6th Application Form
Parents who wanted to register their child for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2026 were required to fill in the following documents:
- Proof of date of birth (DOB certificate, Aadhaar card)
- Proofs of eligibility as per the conditions of NVS
- Rural area study certificate
- Marksheet of Class 5th
- Residence Certificate or Proof
- In the case of NIOS candidates, a `B’ certificate is required
- Any other documents required
