Maharashtra Mission Begin Again Amendment Guidelines
Maharashtra government headed by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has announced a revised set of guidelines, issued as part of the ‘Mission Begin Again’ phase four, allowing barber shops, beauty parlors to reopen in the state from June 28 with some conditions.
As per the new order of the state administration, the customers will have to take prior appointments to avail of the services in hair cutting salons and beauty parlors.
The order further stated that the sanitisation process should be duly maintained by the outlets. In a protective measure against the coronavirus, the employees have been asked to wear protective gear, gloves.
Disposal towels and napkins must be used on customers, while non-disposal equipment should be sanitised and sterilised after each service, the government order said.
Skin related services have not been allowed and the administration has asked the outlets to prominently display this outside their shops.
