Jammu and Kashmir Registration of Contractors Act to provide for the registration of contractors in the Civil Departments of the Jammu and Kashmir State and other connected matters. It shall extend to the whole of the State. It shall come into force from such date as the Government may, by notification in the Government Gazette, appoint in this behalf.

- State whether the applicant has produced plumbing/electrical licence from completant authority
- State whether the applicant has under his employment, dismissed Government servant
- State whether the applicant or any of his partners of shareholders is/are dismissed Govt. Servant (s)
