Holiday List 2023 Assam
The Govt. of Assam has published the Holiday List 2023 Assam PDF for the state of Assam. The citizens of Assam can check the Govt Holiday of 2023 details as given below. During the days of holiday, all Assam Govt Institutions like Govt. Offices, Schools, Colleges, Assam Govt Undertaking Organizations, and Corporation Offices remain closed as well as in few holidays private organizations also declare holidays.
Assam is generally closed on all public holidays in all central and state government offices. There are a total of 35 public holidays in Assam and has some special public holidays. These Holidays will not be automatically applied to Educational Institutions and medical/Engineering Colleges unless they adopt the list but it is desirable that the number of holidays may be decreased for Educational Institutions, Medical/Engineering Colleges, etc. and they will adopt academic calendars decreasing the number of holidays.
