You may obtain the application form for making a new Consumer (Ration) Card from any Circle Office/ S.D.O. Office.
You will require passport-sized photographs of the head of your family attested by a gazetted officer/MLA/MP/Municipal Councillor, the specified proof(s) of residence, and the Surrender/Deletion Certificate of the previous Ration Card if there was any.
In case you are not able to provide any proof of residence, the Circle FSO/S.I./M.O. conducts spot inquiries by recording the statements of two independent witnesses in your neighborhood.
The standard prescribed time schedule for the preparation of a Ration Card is generally 15 days. However, the procedure and time limit may vary from State to State.

Bihar Ration Card Form – How to Apply (बिहार राशन कार्ड आवेदन करने की प्रक्रिया)

सबसे पहले आपको सर्किल ऑफिस / एस.डी.ओ. कार्यालय, में जाकर आवेदन फॉर्म प्राप्त करना होगा। या आप नीचे दिए गए लिंक के माध्यम से भी फॉर्म डाउनलोड कर सकते हैं।
फॉर्म डाउनलोड करने के बाद आपको इसमें पूछी गयी सभी जानकारी सही से भरनी होंगी।
सभी जानकारी भरने के बाद आपको अपने आवश्यक दस्तावेज फॉर्म के साथ संलग्न करने होंगे।
सभी प्रक्रिया पुरनी होने के बाद आपको आवेदन पत्र को अपने नजदीकी सर्किल ऑफिस / एस.डी.ओ. कार्यालय, में जाकर जमा करना होगा।
इसके बाद संबंधित अधिकारीयों द्वारा आपके आवेदन की जाँच की जाएगी। जांच में सभी जानकारी सही पाए जाने पर आपका राशन कार्ड जारी किया जायेगा।

बिहार रैशन कार्ड – पात्रता मानदंड (Eligibility Criteria)

बिहार नए राशन कार्ड के लिए आवेदन करने के लिए, लोगों को सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित की गयी। पात्रता मानदंड को पूरा करना होगा। जिसकी जानकारी हम आपको निम्न प्रकार से दे रहें हैं –

आवेदक बिहार का स्थायी निवासी होना चाहिए और उसके पास वैध अधिवास प्रमाण पत्र होना चाहिए।
आवेदकों के पास राशन कार्ड नहीं होना चाहिए।
हाल ही में शादी कर चुके जोड़े नए राशन कार्ड के लिए आवेदन कर सकते हैं।
विशिष्ट राशन कार्ड के लिए आवेदन करने के लिए, उम्मीदवार को उस विशेष आय वर्ग के अंतर्गत आना चाहिए।

Bihar Ration Card Type

There are three types in Bihar Ration Cards, as mentioned below:

Above Poverty Line (APL): The Government will issue APL ration card to the people living above the poverty line.
Below Poverty Line (BPL): The Government will issue BPL ration card to the people living below the poverty line.
Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) Cards: The Government will issue Antyodya Anna Yojana (AAY) cards to economically the weakest section of the societies.
