UP Board OMR Sheet 2025 - Summary

UP Board OMR Sheet is a special type of answer sheet used by the Uttar Pradesh Board for exams. OMR stands for Optical Mark Recognition, which means the sheet is designed to read the answers marked by students through a computer system. Students need to fill in the bubbles carefully with a black or blue pen to make sure their answers are recorded correctly.

This sheet is mainly used for objective-type questions where students select the right answer from multiple choices. The use of OMR sheets makes the exam checking process faster, fair, and error-free. It also helps in reducing human mistakes while evaluating a large number of answer sheets.

According to the new examination pattern for UPMSP class 10 examinations, the question paper will be of 70 marks. Out of these 70 marks, 20 marks will be given based on objective questions i.e Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The remaining 50 marks will be based on descriptive or subjective questions. The questions could range from Very short answer questions of 1 marks to LOng answer questions of 3 to 4 marks

How to Fill UP Board Class 10 OMR Sheet

  1. Only use black or blue ballpoint pen to encircle the correct option.
  2. The answer to each question must be marked against the right question number in the OMR sheet. Each question has four options.
  3. All answers should be marked carefully without cutting and overwriting.
  4. Do not use whitener on the OMR sheet and do not scratch or the answer would not be evaluated.
  5. Only mark one option for each question by darkening the whole circle.
  6. Only mark the correct option for the answer. Do not mark anything else anywhere in the OMR sheet.
  7. The question paper given to the candidates would contain the question paper numbers and series number in two English alphabets which must be mentioned carefully.
  8. The exam invigilator is responsible for the students to mark their question paper number and series number for both part 1 and part 2 of the question paper.
  9. Some question papers do not contain the series number. In case of such question papers, no numbers or letters are to be marked in the OMR sheet.
