UPSSSC Junior Engineer Agriculture Eligibility Criteria
1. UPSSSC PET Requirement
Candidates must have appeared in the UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) and hold a valid normalized scorecard with positive, non-zero marks. Shortlisting for the Mains Examination is strictly based on the PET scorecard.
2. Educational Qualifications
- High School (Class 10th): Must have passed the High School Examination conducted by the UP Board or an examination recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto.
- Technical Qualification: Must possess a 3-Year Diploma in Agricultural Engineering (कृषि अभियंत्रण में 3 वर्षीय डिप्लोमा) from a recognized university, institute, or Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh (BTEUP), or an equivalent qualification recognized by the state government.
- Language Knowledge: Good working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script.
3. Preferential Qualification (अधिमानी अर्हता)
Other things being equal, preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Served in the Territorial Army (प्रादेशिक सेना) for a minimum period of two years.
- Obtained a ‘B’ Certificate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC).
