RTO Form 35 - Summary
Form 35 is used when you finish paying a loan for your car. It helps remove the bank’s name from your car papers. When you buy a car with a loan, the bank’s name is added to the car papers. After you pay all the money back, you need this form to show that the bank has no problem (No Objection Certificate or NOC).
You must give this form to the RTO (Regional Transport Office) to update your car papers. This is important if you want to sell your car later without any trouble. This form is important if you want to remove the bank’s name (hypothecation) from your vehicle registration. It works as a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the bank that gave you the car loan.
Understanding RTO Form 35
Form 35 must be filled out in duplicate, and in triplicate if the original registering authority is different. The duplicate and triplicate copies, along with the endorsement of the registering authority, must be returned to the financier and the registering authority at the same time as the termination entry is made in the registration certificate and Form 24.
