TSGLI Scheme is a Social Security Measure for the welfare of the Government employees and it is mandatory for all Government employees including provincialized Local Body employees. TSGLI Department is under the Administrative Control of Finance Department. TSGLI premium is exempted from income tax under Section 80C.
Servicemembers’ Group Life Insurance Traumatic Injury Protection (TSGLI) was established by Congress to provide relief to Service members’ after suffering a traumatic injury. TSGLI is a non-option rider on Servicemembers’ Group Life Insurance (SGLI) coverage and is available to Soldiers from all components – Active, Reserve, or National Guard.
