SSC Tented Candidate List - Summary

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) releases a Tented Candidate List before announcing the final results of its exams. This list contains the names and roll numbers of candidates who are shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process, such as document verification, skill test, or interview. It is a temporary or provisional list, meaning it is not the final result but a step toward it.

The SSC Tented Candidate List helps students know whether they have qualified for the next round or not. It is usually released on the official SSC website and can be downloaded in PDF format. Candidates are advised to carefully check their details in the list and stay prepared for the upcoming process.

SSC Ineligible Candidate List

The School Education Department and the School Service Commission (SSC) have not officially published the ineligible candidate list yet. However, some important details have come to light through TV9 Bangla and other media reports. This report will cover the leaked list, the possible return of eligible teachers to their old jobs, and the upcoming new recruitment notice by SSC.

West Bengal SSC Tented List (Unofficial)

On Friday, in the Supreme Court, West Bengal government lawyer Kalyan Banerjee said that the official list of ineligible candidates would be released on Saturday. He also mentioned that these ineligible candidates will not be allowed to apply or appear in the SSC re-employment examination. One major reason for the cancellation of 26,000 jobs was the failure to separate eligible and ineligible candidates. Many people believe this issue will finally be solved once the ineligible list is published.
Before the official announcement, however, TV9 Bangla claimed to have received a copy of the SSC Tented List. According to this list, out of the 26,000 cancelled jobs, 1,803 teachers have been marked as tainted. The report also gave category-wise numbers, though the total calculation is unclear. The breakdown is as follows:

  • Teachers in classes 9–10: 993
  • Teachers in classes 11–12: 810
  • OMR fraud cases in class 9: 808
  • OMR fraud cases in classes 11–12: 771
  • Jobs gained by jumping ranks (class 9–10): 185
  • Jobs gained by jumping ranks (class 11–12): 39
