प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी द्वारा देश के 18 वर्ष से 55 वर्ष की आयु के नागरिकों के लिए पीएम जीवन ज्योति बीमा योजना शुरू की गयी है। इस योजना के तहत व्यक्ति को अपने बैंक में 330 रुपए का एक साल का बीमा करवाना होगा। जिसे आप आगे बचत खाते से ऑटो-डेबिट भी कर सकते हो। Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana के अंतर्गत लिया गया बीमा कवर में व्यक्ति की अचानक मृत्यु होने पर 2 लाख रुपए का बीमा प्रदान मृतक के परिवार वालों को दिया जायेगा।

How to Enrollment PMJJBY (Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana)

PMJJBY is administered through LIC and other Indian private life insurance companies. One may also approach their bankers as for the process of enrollment banks have tied up with insurance companies. In the case of multiple bank accounts held by an individual in one or different banks, the person would be eligible to join the scheme through one bank account only.

PMJJBY Eligibility

Applicants must be Indian residents.
The insured person’s age should be only 18 to 50 years.
The applicant must have a bank account and an Aadhaar card.
The applicant will have to take a premium policy of Rs 330 to avail of the scheme.
For depositing premium installments, your bank account must have a minimum premium amount.

PMJJBY Scheme

Risk coverage under this scheme is for Rs. 2 Lakh in case of death of the insured, due to any reason. The premium is Rs. 330 per annum which is to be auto-debited in one installment from the subscriber’s bank account as per the option given by him on or before 31st May of each annual coverage period under the scheme. The scheme is being offered by Life Insurance Corporation and all other life insurers who are willing to offer the product on similar terms with necessary approvals and tie-up with banks for this purpose.
