Ujjwala Yojana Form – Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Ujjwala Yojana (Free LPG Cylinder Scheme for BPL Women), the eligibility criteria set by the scheme guidelines must be met. The state government and Union territories play a role in identifying eligible BPL beneficiaries for this scheme.

The applicant must be a permanent resident of India and at least 18 years old.
The applicant should be a woman from a BPL household.
No one in the applicant’s household should own an LPG connection.
The monthly household income of the BPL family should not exceed a certain limit, defined by the state governments and union territories.
The applicant’s data must match the BPL data maintained by Oil Marketing Companies, according to the SECC-2011 (Rural) database.
The applicant should not have received similar benefits from any other government scheme.

How to Apply for PM Ujjwala Yojana Form

A woman from the BPL household can apply for a new LPG connection using the prescribed format at the nearest LPG distributor.
While submitting the application, the woman must provide her detailed address, a Jandhan Bank Account, and the Aadhar numbers of all household members.
The Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) will issue the connection to eligible beneficiaries after processing the application.
If the consumer opts for EMI, the EMI amount will be deducted from the subsidy amount due to the consumer on each refill.

Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana application must be made offline by filling out and submitting the application form at the nearest LPG distribution agency.

Total monthly or annual income of the BPL household to which the applicant belongs.
