Open the official PICME portal and choose Self-Registration to reach the current online form. The screen observed on 27 October 2026 begins with Aadhaar verification. The official FAQ also lists e-Seva centres, the 102 call centre and government hospitals for pre-registration. A Village Health Nurse or Urban Health Nurse completes registration and issues the RCH ID.
The FAQ says Aadhaar is not compulsory for pregnancy registration, but it is required for the maternity benefit scheme. Since the current self-registration screen starts with Aadhaar verification, follow the portal’s current prompts or contact the local nurse if you cannot proceed.
