PF Declaration Form 11 - Summary
PF Declaration Form 11 is a form that every new employee must fill out when joining a company that provides Provident Fund (PF) benefits. This form is used by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) to collect important details about the employee’s previous PF membership, UAN (Universal Account Number), and job history. It helps the employer and EPFO keep a proper record of the employee’s PF account and transfer the old balance, if any, to the new account.
The main purpose of Form 11 is to check whether the new employee is already a member of EPF or not. If they are, the same UAN will be continued. If not, a new UAN will be generated. This process avoids the creation of duplicate accounts and ensures smooth management of the employee’s PF funds.
