Eligibility and Age Criteria
Applicants for Trade Apprentice posts must hold an ITI pass certificate in the relevant trade recognized by NCVT or SCVT. Candidates for Diploma Apprentice posts require a diploma in engineering, while Graduate Apprentice applicants must hold a degree in engineering from a recognized university. Candidates who have already completed an apprenticeship or have more than one year of regular work experience are not eligible.
The applicant must be between 18 and 26 years of age as on 18 November 2026. Age relaxations apply for reserved categories according to government guidelines: 5 years for SC and ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for PwBD applicants.
