Indian Air Force (AFCAT) Recruitment 2021 - Summary

Indian Air Force (IAF) has extended the last date of application for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT). Candidates can now apply for IAF AFCAT upto 11 January 2021 on AFCAT official website www.careerindianairforce.cdac.in OR www.afcat.cdac.in. IAF has also released additional vacancies for women candidates in Ground Duty (Non-Tech) Branches i.e. Admin , Logistics and Accounts Branch.

As per the AFCAT website – “All women candidates eligible for Ground Duty N-Tech Branches who were unable to register earlier can now register for ADM, LGS and ACCTS Branch. Registration date has been extended till 11th Jan 2021 . All those women candidates already registered for Flying/AE Branch will be allowed to Add / Modify their preference of branch from 18-21 Jan, 2021.”

Vacancy Details for Air Force X, Y Group Recruitment Online Form 2021

Post Name – X Group & Y Group(01/2022 Batch)

Number of Posts – As per Indian Air Force Rules

Pay Scale – Rs.33,100/-

Educational Qualification:

Group X – Candidates who have passed their Intermediate (10+2) Level Exam with Maths, Physics & English Subject with Minimum 50% marks Or Passed 3 years Polytechnic Diploma with 50% Marks. OR 2 Years Vocation Course with 50% Marks will be considered for this post.

Group Y – Candidates who have passed their Intermediate (10+2) Level Exam with Minimum 50% marks & scored minimum 50% marks in English OR having Vacation Course done with 50% Marks will be considered for this post.
