- The pension amount under the YSR Pension Kanuka Scheme will increase by Rs. 250 every year. By the fourth year, the pension amount will reach Rs. 3,000 per month, as promised during the elections.
- The new order by the Panchayati Raj and Rural Development department has lowered the eligibility age for old-age pension recipients from 65 years to 60 years.
- All senior citizens, widows, weavers, toddy tappers, fishermen, single women, traditional cobblers, and people living with HIV will now receive Rs. 2,250 monthly.
- According to the latest guidelines, all persons with disabilities will now receive a monthly pension of Rs. 3,000. Earlier, individuals with 40% to 79% disability received Rs. 2,000, while those with 80% or more disability received Rs. 3,000.
- The pension amount for chronic kidney patients undergoing dialysis has been increased from Rs. 3,500 to Rs. 10,000.
