Bihar Lockdown Guidelines (16 to 31 July)
A complete lockdown will be imposed in Bihar from July 16 to 31 July to curb the spread of coronavirus, Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi announced on Tuesday.
“The government has taken a decision to this effect Corona has neither any vaccine nor any medicine,” Modi said in a virtual rally, details of which were shared on his Twitter handle.

Here’s the list of what remains open and what will be closed during the lockdown:
- Essential services allowed.
- Farming and construction-related activities allowed.
- Hospitals and all related medical establishments will continue to remain functional. The transportation for all medical personnel nurses, Para-medical staff, other hospital support services are permitted. This provision will also apply to veterinary services and establishments also.
Here’s what remains closed in Bihar during Lockdown 4
- Commercial, private and govt establishments to remain closed.
- Places of worship (Temple, Mosque, Church, Gurudwaras) to remain closed.
- Offices of the Government of India, its Autonomous Subordinate Offices and Public Corporation shall remain closed.
