If you open an account online, you will not be able to add a nominee since it requires physical signatures.
How to Add Nominee – Zerodha Demat Account
To add a nominee to your account, you can fill up the nomination form, sign it, and courier it to our head office address.
The nomination will be applicable to your trading and demat account. Since the nominee will be added to your demat account, the same nomination will be applicable for your Coin (mutual funds) holdings as well.
