- Anyone who deliberately misrepresents or hides facts during the Udyam Registration or update process will face penalties under Section 27 of the Act.

- PAN and GST linked details will automatically be fetched from Government databases regarding investment and turnover.

- As of 01.04.2021, having a PAN and GST number is essential.
- Entities with EM-II or UAM registrations or any other registration from the Ministry of MSME must re-register.
