PMAY List of Cities (State-Wise) 2022 - Summary
The central government has selected 7550 cities across 28 states and union territories under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Under the PM Awas Yojana, the government aims to provide more than 2 Crore homes by the year 2022. The affordable homes under the scheme will be provided to the urban poor or people belonging to EWS/LIG categories.
Tamil Nadu leads the way with the highest 1073 cities in the list where affordable housing under the PM Awas Yojana will be provided to the urban poor. Andaman & Nicobar and Daman & Diu are at the bottom of the list with just 1 city selected in each for the scheme.
