Eligibility Criteria

Like other states of India, West Bengal also has certain eligibility criteria for the application of a new ration card. All the necessary eligibility criteria for the application of the new ration card are as follows.

It is mandatory for the applicant to be a permanent resident of West Bengal.

Those who have an old ration card or whose ration card has expired can also apply for a new ration card.

WB Digital Ration Card Online Application Procedure

In case you full fill the eligibility criteria given above; you can apply in online mode by following the given steps.

First of all, you have to go to the official website of the West Bengal Ration Card. After this, the home page of the website will open in front of you.

On the home page of the website, you have to click on the option of “Click here to apply” for conversion to non-subsidized ration or non-subsidized ration card. After this, a form will open in front of you.
In this form, you have to enter your mobile number and click on the option of “GET OTP“. After this, your mobile number OTP will come.

Now this OTP has to be recorded at the specified location. After this, click on the button “Validate” to verify the number.
After this, you have to select your option. After this, the application form will open in front of you.
Now you have to enter the details of the information asked in the form and click on the “Show Profile” button. After this, you have to click on the option of Add Another Member.
After this, you have to enter the details of other family members and click on the button of “SAVE AND VIEW APPLICATION”. After this, verify your details and click on the “Submit” button.
Now your application number will be generated, you can keep it safe for future use.

Add Member in the Family

You can add a Member in the Family Ration Card of west Bengal Digitally through the few easy steps:

First of all you have to go to the official website of the department of food and supplies, government of West Bengal. After this, the homepage of the website will open in front of you.
On the homepage of the website, you have to click on the option of “apply to add member in your family” under the citizen tab. After this, a new page will open in front of you.
On this page you check a box where you need to enter your mobile number and verify it with the OTP sanded to your mobile.
A new application form will open on your device screen. Here you need to enter all the required details.
After filling the form press submit button to submit your update application.

Change Name or Other Details in Ration Card

You can change your name and other details on WB Ration Card by following few easy steps:

First, you have to go to the official website of the department of food and supplies, the government of West Bengal. After this, the homepage of the website will open in front of you.
On the homepage of the website, you have to click on the option of “change name or other details in Ration card” under the citizen tab. After this, a new page will open in front of you.
On this new page enter your mobile number and then click on the get OTP button.
Enter the code into the OTP box sanded to your mobile number.
After confirmation of your mobile number, a new form will open in front of you. In this from enter all the required details.
Finally after filling the form completely press submit button to submit your application.

On the homepage of the website, you have to click on the option of “Apply for Duplicate Ration Card” under the citizen tab. After this, a new page will open in front of you.
Enter your mobile number and click on get OTP Button.
Fill the OTP in the given OTP Box and verify your mobile number.
Now you will redirect to a new web page where you need to enter all the details required in the form.
After completing the process finally click on submit option to register your application.
