In Delhi senior citizen pension, the social welfare department is run by the Delhi government. Under Vridha Pension, financial assistance ranging from Rs 2,000 to Rs 25,000 is given to the beneficiary citizens for their livelihood.
In Delhi, the elderly pension for those between 60 and 70 years is Rs 2,000 and Rs 2,500 for those above 70 years. The amount includes the central contribution of Rs 200 for those between 60 and 79 and Rs 500 for those above 80 years.
