The Ministry of Minority Affairs has started the Haj application process from 13th February 2023 for Haj Volunteers. The candidates waiting for Hajj Yatra registrations can fill out the form online by visiting the official website @hajcommittee.gov.in or you can directly download the Haj Form PDF from the link given at the bottom of this page.

Ministry of Minority Affairs will offer application forms for Hajj 2023 free of cost and the Haj package cost has also been reduced by Rs 50,000 per pilgrim. The government has also made special arrangements for ladies, infants, divyangjan, and the elderly. Every year a huge number of volunteers have appeared for the Hajj Yatra. Mecca is one of the most popular holy places for Muslims.

Documents Required for Haj Application Form

• Latest passport-size photograph preferably white background.
• Indian International Passport (First & Last Page),
• Address Proof,
• Cancelled Cheque or Bank Passbook’s first page,
• Covid-19 Vaccine Certificate.

Instructions for Filling Online Application Form:

1. Please do not use Google Pay, UPI & Wallet options for making payment
2. Non-refundable processing Fee of Rs. 100/- is to be paid by each Applicant
3. Please wait for 30 seconds after every submission. Do not refresh or go back
4. Please upload a Passport size Photo of the Applicant (Size: 2.00×2.5 inches)
5. Please upload a copy of Applicant’s signature (Size: 2.00×2.5 inches)
6. Essential Qualification: A degree from a recognized University / Institute in any at the time of filling application form.
7. Age limit as per UPSC guidelines
8. Selection process Ly XII batch for the academic Year 2020-21:
   1. There will be no written test. Only Online interview via ZOOM. Shortlisted candidates will be selected on Merit, taking into consideration Qualification & past records.
   2. A Security Deposit of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only) will have to be paid at at the time of Admission. Once the Candidate is admitted in Haj House, he/she will not be allowed to leave before Preliminary Examination to be conducted during June, 2021, else his/her deposit will be forfeited.
   3. Refund of Security Deposit will only be made after Preliminary Examination.
