EID Takbeer - Summary
Eid is a wonderful time of joy for Muslims, especially in the UAE. This festive season is filled with beautiful traditions, including family dinners, gifting loved ones, and offering special prayers. While Eid prayers are usually performed at mosques or designated spaces, you can also perform the Eid prayer at home if you are unable to attend.
Reciting Takbeer-e-Tashreeq is mandatory for all adult Muslim men and women after every obligatory Salah, whether done in a group or alone. However, women who are menstruating are exempt from reciting the Takbir.

PREPARING FOR SALAT AL-EID
As this is a special time, it is best to celebrate Eid at home. You can also follow the sunnah of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) to prepare for Salat Al-Eid:
- Perform ghusl (bath) before prayers
- Eat an odd number of dates
- Dress in your festive clothes
- Share good wishes with family and friends by saying Taqabbalallahu Minna wa Minkum – May Allah accept (the worship) from us and from you
