Dhanvantari Stotram Telugu PDF

Dhanvantari Stotram is an important part of Dhanwantri puja, which must be performed with great devotion and focus. It is ideal to carry out this puja at dawn, chanting the Dhanwantri maha mantra: “Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaaya Dhanvantaraye Amrita-kalasha Hastaaya Sarva-amaya Vinashaaya Trailokya Naathaya Dhanvantri Maha-vishnave Namaha.”

Dhanvantari is revered in Hinduism as the God of Medicine, much like Aesculapius in Greek tradition. According to the Shrimad Bhagvat Purana, during a time of crisis for the demigods (Devas), they sought assistance from Lord Vishnu, who instructed both the demigods and the demons (Asuras) to churn the ocean using the mighty Mandar Mountain and the serpent Vasuki.

అచ్యుతానంత గోవింద విష్ణో నారాయణాఽమృత
రోగాన్మే నాశయాఽశేషానాశు ధన్వంతరే హరేగ
ఆరోగ్యం దీర్ఘమాయుష్యం బలం తేజో ధియం శ్రియం
స్వభక్తేభ్యోఽనుగృహ్ణంతం వందే ధన్వంతరిం హరిమ్ ॥

శంఖం చక్రం జలౌకాం దధదమృతఘటం చారుదోర్బిష్చతుర్భిః ।
సూక్ష్మస్వచ్ఛాతిహృద్యాంశుక పరివిలసన్మౌళిమంభోజనేత్రమ్ ।
కాలాంభోదోజ్జ్వలాంగం కటితటవిలసచ్చారుపీతాంబరాఢ్యమ్ ।
వందే ధన్వంతరిం తం నిఖిలగదవనప్రౌఢదావాగ్నిలీలమ్ ॥

ధన్వంతరే ష్లోకం
ధన్వంతరేరిమం శ్లోకం భక్త్యా నిత్యం పఠంతి యే ।
అనారోగ్యం న తేషాం స్యాత్ సుఖం జీవంతి తే చిరమ్ ॥

మంత్రం
ఓం నమో భగవతే వాసుదేవాయ ధన్వంతరయే అమృతకలశహస్తాయ [వజ్రజలౌకహస్తాయ] సర్వామయవినాశనాయ త్రైలోక్యనాథాయ శ్రీమహావిష్ణవే స్వాహా ।
