Under the Balari Birth Gift Scheme, a sum of Rs. 51,000/- is given as a Fixed Deposit Receipt (FDR) on the birth of a female child (up to a maximum of two girls). This amount can only be encashed at the time of the daughter’s marriage.

The Balari Birth Gift Scheme provides financial assistance in the form of an FDR of Rs. 51,000/- for each female child (up to two girls). This amount can only be accessed when the daughter gets married.
Terms and Conditions
Important Guidelines:
- The period of the fixed deposit will extend until the daughter’s marriage.
- The FDR must be pledged in the name of the Board, and only the secretary of the Board or an authorized officer has the authority to release it.
- The Rs. 51,000/- FDR can be applied for the first time until the girl turns 18, and then year after year until she gets married.
- The beneficiary must make regular contributions to the Board.
- Applications for this scheme should be submitted online on the Board’s web portal through L.I/L.E.O, or at the nearest Suvidha Kendra.
