Electric Vehicles Eligible for Subsidy in Delhi
Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot has recently launched an electric vehicle policy portal. This platform ensures the smooth disbursement of demand incentives for all electric vehicle buyers. The subsidy applies to all vehicles registered after August 7 of this year when the policy was officially announced. Additionally, the road tax exemption will be effective from October 10, while registration fee waivers start from October 15. Electric vehicle dealers can visit ev.delhi.gov.in to apply for the subsidy with ease.
Gahlot called the entire process simple and hassle-free. According to him, the transport department has already approved over 100 EV models that qualify for this subsidy. So far, 36 manufacturers have registered, and 98 dealers have partnered with us in this important mission.
