AIBE Exam 2025 Syllabus - Summary
AIBE (All India Bar Examination) is a national-level exam conducted by the Bar Council of India (BCI) for law graduates who wish to practice law in India. The main purpose of this exam is to test a candidate’s basic understanding of law and legal skills. Only those who pass the AIBE exam are awarded the “Certificate of Practice,” which allows them to practice as advocates in Indian courts.
AIBE syllabus includes topics from different areas of law that every lawyer should know. It covers subjects such as the Constitution of India, Criminal Law, Civil Procedure Code, Evidence Act, Contract Act, and more. The exam is designed to check candidates’ knowledge of core legal principles, ethics, and their ability to apply legal concepts in real-life cases.
